Zachary Davies
Composer and pianist, Zachary Davies is currently a music student at King’s College London, undertaking his piano studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Professor John Reid. As a pianist, Zachary has a performed at a diverse range of venues: from St Bride’s Church and the Guildhall, to the Budapest Jazz Club and the Bull’s Head Jazz Room. He has also taken part in masterclasses with Charles Owen, David Syrus and Alexandra Dariescu. As a composer, he writes regularly for soloists, ensembles and societies within his university, and has studied with Thomas Hyde and Samuel Andreyev. Talking and thinking about music are also of interest, inspiring Zachary to found The Euterpean Podcast, a platform that has welcomed guests such as, critic at the Guardian, Flora Willson and conductor Benjamin Zander.
